A Care-Project from EC in Japan

The New Era University Integrated School – Grade School Department received a soft “helmet” (Disaster Prevention Hood) as a care-project from the group of Ministers’ wives assigned in Ecclesiastical District of Japan. The said helmet is a safety gear used by school children in Japan to protect themselves from earthquake during evacuation while at school.

The students and parents were both very happy to receive the safety gears as according to them, they feel safer and prepared for when the earthquake comes. As per the School Administration, this kind of project is a big help to the school and a testimony of how the Church Administration cares for the welfare of the young members of the Church.

The project was spearheaded by Sis. Amalee Benedicto, one of the Minister’s wife from Japan, Sis. Anita P. Santos, Consultant for NEU IS, and Dr. Rebecca S. Supan, the Principal.
