Admission

Admission presupposes that a student’s application has satisfactorily met all the entrance requirements of the University.

Enrolment in the University is a contractual relationship between the students and the Administration. A student is admitted with definite understanding that he and his parents or guardians agree to comply with the scholastic standards of the University and its rules governing student’s behavior. The administration is empowered to deal with violations in accordance with its systems of discipline and guidance.

Admission to the University is made with no discrimination on the grounds of religious belief, race, sex, age or physical disability.

A student seeking admission to the University must be a graduate of a standard secondary course offered by a duly recognized school and must have passed the NEU Admission Test and Medical & Physical Examination. A student whose eligibility for admission has been verified must submit to the Registrar or his authorized representatives the following:

For PEPT and NFE A&E Qualifiers
  • Certificate of Rating & Certification issued by DepEd.
Incoming Freshmen
  • High School Fourth Year Card (F-138) or, in case this is not available, Third Year Card (F-138)
  • National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) Result.
Transferee Students
  • Transcript of Records (TOR) or Certification of Grades
  • Transfer Credential Certificate / Honorable Dismissal
Graduate Studies & Bachelor of Laws
  • Original & Photocopy of TOR with Special Order Number
  • Transfer Credential Certificate / Honorable Dismissal
Foreign Students
  • Original & Photocopy of TOR/Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the applicant’s country of origin or legal residence.
  • Clear copy of Applicant’s Passport with personal data, latest admission and authorized period to stay.
  • Police Clearance issued by the national police authorities in the applicant’s country of origin or legal residence, authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post having consular jurisdiction over the said places.
Additional Requirements
  • Five (5) copies of 2″ x 2″ color Identical ID Pictures with printed name and signature of applicant at the back.
  • “Patotoo ng Lokal” for INC members
  • For Non-INC Member: Secure a recommendation (letter) from an INC Member and a Locale Resident Minister of INC Locale nearest to applicant’s residence attesting to his/her being good and law abiding citizen.
  • Certification of Good Moral Character from the last school attented and/or employer.
  • Photocopy of NSO – Authenticated Birth Certificate (for undergraduate degree students only).
Entry Grade Admission Requirements
  • 83 for the primary and secondary levels;
  • 85 for the tertiary level;
  • 2.25 weighted average for transferees to the tertiary level.
