NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM

NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM DEPARTMENT

ABOUT US

Welcome to New Era University-NSTP Department. College students are educated, trained and molded to become socially aware and responsible toward rendering sincere service to the people and eventually become responsible citizens that can contribute to nation-building. To achieve this, NEU-NSTP activities and projects are realized through the following components, duly constituted in the Republic Act No. 9163 also known as the Act An Act Establishing The National Service Training Program (NSTP) For Tertiary Level Students. The Law aims to promote and integrate values education, transformational leadership, spirit of patriotism and nationalism and sustainable social mobilization for youth development, community building and national security.

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) is a program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth by developing the ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing training in any of its three (3) program components. These various components are specially designed to enhance the youth's active contribution to the general welfare.
