Welcome to the New Era University website!

New Era University is a private, non-sectarian educational institution established by the Iglesia ni Cristo. It aims to develop among its students and other clientele, academic excellence, professional responsibility and social awareness founded on genuine Christian principles.

NEU recognizes that the individual can not and should not live apart from the mainstream of the community and that, as a social individual; he has responsibility toward the society in which he lives.

Further, NEU upholds the constitutional mandate that all schools shall aim to inculcate love of country, teach the duties of citizenship and develop moral character, personal discipline and scientific, technological, and vocational efficiency for national development.

To realize the foregoing, NEU endeavors to assist its constituents in acquiring fundamental abilities, competencies, and attitudes so that he may grow and strive to be an effective and useful citizen of the country, an asset to the world and to humanity, and a model Christian. NEU likewise endeavors to equip the individual with skills necessary in meeting his responsibilities to societies and abilities that will enable him to adjust to a fast changing and demanding world.

The ideals of the University are humanistic in the sense that they aim to develop an individual who would best approximate the traditional “universal man” – not only intellectually trained but also possessing an integrated personality that is morally and culturally aware.

As an institution of higher learning, the University further aims to provide curricula relevant to the national development goals of the country. It commits itself to the training and preparation of technically qualified individuals in the field of sciences, engineering, and technology that will mobilize the natural and human resources of the country and will realize the Filipino’s aim for progress and development through excellent training that is lived and practiced.
