NEU Online University Director Visits Singapore Learning Center

In view of the thrust of New Era University (NEU) to strengthen its Distance Education and as part of its aim to reach its clientele abroad for online expansion, the NEU Online University Main Office through its Director, Dr. Gabriel G. Malonzo, pays a visit to Singapore Learning Center on April 30, 2013.

New Era University Computer Science has once again obtained free IBM dB2 Academic Associate certification for its students last March 22 and 26, 2013 at IBM Ayala Techohub Quezon City.

Out of 89 students who took the exam 79 (88.76%) passed --- the highest student-turnout per academic institution so far for the year 2013. Philippines schools IBM db2 certification standing overall is only 83%.

The recent certification is the second attempt of NEU to have its student certified before graduating from the academe. The first student certification happened last December 2011 which produced 18 student passers (85.71%) out of 21.

All certification exams of NEU were proctored by Mr. ALEXIS PANTOLA, IBM Academic Initiative Technical Manager, at IBM Ayala Technohub Training Area. NEU and IBM are now enjoying the fruits of IBM Academic Initiative partneship (linkage) that was signed last October 2011.
