REFRESHER COURSE

Pursuant to Supreme Court Bar Matter No. 1161 (RE: Proposed Reforms in the Bar Examinations), a bar candidate, after failing three to five (or more) times, is qualified to take the Bar Examinations, provided, among others, that he/she successfully completes a one (1) year Refresher Course, under a curriculum prepared by the Legal Education Board (LEB), and in a law school accredited by it for that purpose.

New Era University-College of Law has been granted Authority to Offer Refresher Course in Academic Year 2022-2023 with Permit No. 22-3013

I. ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

Accomplish the Online Application Form for Admission

II. SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS

Send the following INITIAL requirements (digital/scanned copy) to law@neu.edu.ph:

SUBJECT LINE: Application for Refresher Course_SURNAME, FIRST NAME

  • 2×2 colored I.D. picture
  • PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate (for married female)
  • Law School Transcript of Records

Should there be requirement/s that are not yet available, please (1) indicate in your e-mail the requirement/s that are lacking, (2) execute an undertaking (download form here) to submit said requirement/s once you received your endorsement for admission, and (3) attach your accomplished undertaking in your email, for your application to be processed, pending submission of complete requirements.

III. EVALUATION & ENDORSEMENT
FOR ADMISSION

The Dean’s Office will verify the submitted requirements and will issue an Endorsement Letter for Admission. The applicant will be informed via text and/or e-mail of the next procedure.
