President Rodrigo Duterte led the opening ceremony of the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City, Manila on April 29, 2017.

The New Era University Delegates, under the stewardship of the school President, Dr. Nilo S. Rosas, had the great opportunity to witness this momentous occasion.

FIRE PREVENTION MONTH

In observance of the fire prevention month, New Era University shall undergo upgrading its power supply. There will be a temporary suspension of CLASSES and OFFICE WORKS in the main building and integrated school building of the main campus for Wednesday (March 15, 2017). Classes and office works shall resume on Thursday (March 16, 2017).

Colleges and Departments occupying the Professional Schools Building (PSB) are not affected by the power maintenance. Hence, regular classes and activities in the PSB will go on as usual.

9TH PLACER SPLBE SEPTEMBER 2016

Vincent Fulo Fulleros, a student of New Era University – Distance Education placed 9th in the Special Professional Licensure Board Exam (SPLBE) for Teachers/LET in the Middle East. He got a score of 81.00%.

Among the 200 examinees, a total of seventy-four (74) secondary teachers successfully passed the SPLBE for Teachers/LET in the Middle East last September 2016. The examination was held in the PRC testing locations in Riyadh, Jeddah &Al-Khobar, KSA; Abu Dhabi, UAE; Doha, Qatar; and Kuwait.
